WA Peer Connect Conference
June 12 @ 9:30 am - 4:00 pmFree
Peer Support Networks operate across WA and are a great place for you to connect and attend events in your local community, with your peers who share similar life experiences. The Peer Connect Conference is an event for disabled people and family members/carers to network and connect with local Peer Support Networks that are operating across WA.
At this event you will be able to:
- Meet great people and hear local stories about the work of Peer Support Networks on the ground
- Link to an existing peer support network or create a new network in your area
- Feel more confident and knowledgeable about the NDIS
- Have your questions answered about NDIS planning, how to choose from the services available and how the funding processes work.
Key Note Speaker: Sam Paior “The Nuts and Bolts of the NDIS”
Sam is the founder of The Growing Space in South Australia. A parent of a son with an intellectual disability she has a wealth of both personal and professional knowledge and information about navigating the federal National Disability Insurance Scheme and getting the best out of your NDIS plan.
