When people choose for their funding to be administered on their behalf, together with full support to co-ordinate and manage their services by an organisation, this is known to be Organisational Managed. The organisation is the formal employer of the support persons and is contractually responsible for those supports and services.
People who want and/or need supports and services that are co-ordinated and managed by an organisation doesn’t mean they do not self direct those services. Self Direction is being able to guide the design and development of those services in a way that makes sense for the person.
Thank you to the following wonderful people who have generously agreed to share their story about how they are living their lives, with organisational managed supports and services.
