Where do I find out more information about COVID-19 and what to do about my own health and safety?

The Australian Department of Health

The Australian Government are updating their page on COVID-19 regularly. This is a great place to keep going to if you are concerned you may have missed any important information. It has all the advice and information that the government have given us about COVID-19 so far.

Health Direct have a page all about COVID-19. It gives information on what might happen if you get the virus, as well as how to protect yourself from catching it.

What information is the NDIA giving about COVID-19?

The NDIA have a page called NDIS and Disaster response that has a lot of information on it.  More information is added regularly.  There is also information in Easy Read.

What if I need urgent changes to my plan?

The NDIA

Because of the COVID-19 pandemic, the NDIA has special teams of planners available to help make urgent changes to plans. Depending on what you need, these changes might include a change to your plan management option or how flexibly you can use your different support budgets, for example capacity building. Call them on 1800 800 110 if you need urgent assistance.
