The Australian Government is proposing changes to the legislation underpinning the National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS) to make processes easier and better for people accessing the NDIS.

The National Disability Insurance Scheme Amendment (Participant Service Guarantee and Other Measures) Bill 2021 (the Bill) will make the new NDIS Participant Service Guarantee law.

It also makes other changes to deliver better outcomes for people and makes NDIS processes simpler. It does not change what the NDIS is or who can access it.
