Person Centred Planning
February 26 @ 9:00 am - February 28 @ 4:00 pm$150
A three day workshop presented by Shelley Nessman and Sheldon Shwitek.
Person centred planning is the collective term for a family of planning styles (Mount 1992):
- Discovering who people are
- Actively searching for a person gifts and capacities in the context of community life
- Strengthening the voice of the person
- Defining desirable changes people want and/or need
This 3-day training creates the opportunity for participants to explore the values of person centredness and develop new tools for planning.
If you want to learn more about the tools and to facilitate MAPS and PATH, then this is for you!
